Deleted Scene: dealing with Sandy’s Death

Originally this scene followed the scene where Pitch destroys Sandy. We had just decided to “kill” off Sandy but weren’t exactly sure what that meant or how he would come back. Jack in earlier scenes had pinched some dream sand for himself. The thinking was with a tiny bit of dream sand left that Sandy wasn’t really gone, that if children began to dream and “believe” again that he could return. Ultimately we felt it was better to have a proper ceremony underlining the loss and the mounting stakes to the remaining Guardians.
